Very clean hotel. Lovely, welcoming staff - always very helpful. Cleaning was excellent and our welcome and departure were very good. We were even given a gift on leaving which was a nice touch.

The staff were very accommodating and helpful especially Yunus. Excellent for transport and shops. It was nearby to the tram and so easy to get to the mosques. Lots of food places nearby as well. The breakfast was very well set out and lots of choice. Staff were very friendly, always smiling. I would definitely go again.

Very clean and very friendly and helpful staff. The location was exceptional as if you want to see the old city it’s very close east walking distance.

Location was excellent just a short walk to the Hagia Sophia and tram was practically on the door step. The staff were lovely and very helpful. We would spend the end of our evening in the lobby area with Turkish tea. In particular Abdurrahman, Yilmaz and one other young man who sorted out our luggage and worked behind the bar. His last day was when we were leaving. They were very professional, kind and helpful and made us feel so welcome. Thank you!

The stuff is wonderful- really welcoming, always trying to help you and find the best solution possible. 5/5 Location is also great- right in the city center. 5/5 Our room was very clean and spacious. 4/5

Ersin, Yunus , Abdurrahman and rooms team (Olga and crew) were great to our family! We felt welcome, safe and well taken care of. The hospitality and attitude makes your stay special together with amazing service, responsiveness and ability to accommodate your needs. I am very pleased with our time spent at Golden Royal and will search no other place for the next time. Location is unbeatable with walking distance everywhere and tram station at the corner. Good food and coffee and market is also right there at the same street so if you travel with kids or parents, it’s perfect

The hotel location is amazing,just 2 min walk from Grand Bazaar and 5 min walk to Agia Sofia,Basilic cistern and Blue Mosque.2 min walk from the tram station as well. Breakfast had literally everything and so tasteful and the room was beautiful and big. But what we loved the most was the staff,So helpful and always greeting us with a smile!They are always there to make your stay more than pleasant and answer all your questions you may have.We had great conversations with Mahmoud (the Syrian guy) and the lovely guy from Mardin! We can’t wait to come back!

The hotel is an oasis in the hustle and bustle of Istanbul. It is quiet, clean, with a supermarket just in front of the hotel. Also there are plenty of cafes, restaurants. Public transport just few metres away but all mayor sites can be reached by foot . Breakfast is varied, plenty and tasty. You are spoil for choices. There is a complementary water bottle a day. This hotel fulfilled my expectations. We have a wonderful stay.
